![]() ![]() ![]() I awarded this one five stars, although I rarely rate anything that highly. If you are a Connelly fan, a courtroom drama fan, or just a fan of really good, addictive novels, you will love this read. The ending was one of his best yet and although I can't say much about it without giving too much away, I can say you will need 30 minutes to just sit and contemplate the entire book after realizing what just occurred. The Lincoln Lawyer was great but this one had a certain courtroom strategy aspect that just kept you wanting more. Certainly, in my opinion, this is the best of Connelly's "Haller" novels. "One more chapter" usually turns into two, three, and sometimes four additional chapters before I walk into my house. "Driveway" books leave me sitting in my car LONG after arriving home from my commute. ![]() My "driveway" list consists of books that 5 stars will not accurately describe how addictive the book really is. Few of the 300 books I've listened to on Audible make it to my "driveway" list but this is certainly one of them. ![]() ![]() From past few centuries the design and sceneograpy of the theatre changed a lot. so for this reason Macbeth is still now relevant in this age of time.įrom the directorial point of view, it is a wise desicicion to devote myself to design and produce a play from the world’s best playwright. the political condition have changed a lot but the power game and the approach or crisis remain the same in our society. its not only the inner crisis or devilish approach of a single person, its a crisis of the power dame and its crime in our society happening all the time. so this play is still relevant after few centuries. through this play Shakespeare tries to show the crisis of the society, the dramatic question in this play is basically our crisis in the society. ![]() The bloodbath and consequent civil war swiftly take Macbeth and Lady Macbeth into the realms of madness and death. The second installment in the pulse-pounding Partials saga is the story of the eleventh hour of humanity's time on Earth, a journey deep into places unknown to discover the means-and even more important, a reason-for our survival. But Kira's journey will take her deep into the overgrown wasteland of postapocalyptic America, and Kira and Marcus both will discover that their greatest enemy may be one they didn't even know existed. Meanwhile, back on Long Island, what's left of humanity is gearing up for war with the Partials, and Marcus knows his only hope is to delay them until Kira returns. Her companions are Afa Demoux, an unhinged drifter and former employee of ParaGen, and Samm and Heron, the Partials who betrayed her and saved her life, the only ones who know her secret. That the Partials themselves hold the cure for RM in their blood cannot be a coincidence-it must be part of a larger plan, a plan that involves Kira, a plan that could save both races. Kira has left East Meadow in a desperate search for clues to who she is. Kira Walker has found the cure for RM, but the battle for the survival of humans and Partials is just beginning. ![]() |
